Can I Swim
By Lilly Milliken
It’s Fall. I look out my window and leaves are
falling. The air is crisp and my pool is filled with leaves. I say to myself.
“Can I swim? No too cold.”
It’s Winter.
I look out my window and my pool is covered with ice. I say to myself. “Can I
swim? No too cold.”
It’s Spring.
I look out my window and the trees and bushes have new leaves and it is windy outside.
I say to myself. “Can I swim? No too cold.”
It’s Summer.
I look out my window and I see my parents swimming in my pool. I say to myself.
“Can I swim? Yes I learned how to swim last year.” I get on my suit and I jump
right in. The water is warm. It is not too cold!
